@kewlzonic I know this is an old comment, but this video by the same guy is an explanation of the Special Stages in Sonic 3 which uses a different technique. (Yes, I know that's an old comment, but just thought I'd share.)
Why replace the other version that showed the different colors of the sphere? That makes no sense.
But how about Phantasy Star for the Master System? Was that just all tiles?
