@esponjaresource This occurs probably because the palette originally had 3 greys, but the lightest grey was changed to a red, but Eggman used that lightest grey, so therefore, it is red.

It's worth nothing that the Oil Ocean Zone palette works well with Hidden Palace's icon.

the aquatic ruin sonic face look like spongebob

mushroom valley instead of hill? interesting
to mention, eggman's delete save slot state looks like that he has Spoiler:blood in the head

@ilovescratchcie *Silec

i want like a sonic 3 save icons custom sheet that's bigger, with a full body appearance of the sonic, tails and knuckles icons, and the 100% icon looking like a title screen, like Sonic XG.

Solec, What a good sonic oc

Looks like the sound test background is copy and paste from sonic 2

Man you observe too much

@ThomasTheHedgehog888 More like a night version.

That's really weird...Emerald Hill with Hidden Palace's palette looks almost like an evening version

@Tailikku: Except that was Fred's exploration of fixing the palette in the game to forcibly accommodate a shift so that the lightest grey color appears in place of the pink color, thereby making the good doctor having a 'fixed palette'. In the game itself, the palette is laid out as Fred described, but at no point does Robotnik's red mark actually change with the Chaos Emeralds flashing in the save slot next to him. There isn't any reason to update this because of that.

@The Observer:
I think you might need to add the fixed Eggman sprite thanks to some research on Sonic 3 Unlocked. Apparently, the bindi on Eggman's forehead was an error in modifying the palette to accomodate for Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles having to share a single palette, which also affected the shine on Eggman's head, making it look pink rather than white.

@SonicHex:
I believe that they are, yes, but my memories on this occuring is vague since I was focused on finding the level in question, not the icon and any 'loading' palette associated to the stage. I am unsure as to whether they carry the same palette as seen here.
And I really need to get my act together and fix this sheet. :I

are these duplicate level icons with the glitch colors in sonic 2 aswell? because if they are there that could mean that the scrapped s2 zones where intended to have icons

I like the icons for the characters.

Thanks!
