No need. It had shown up with the S3K credits text - for whatever reason - when I tested prior, but whatever. Revision in.
Sid Starkiller is right. Sonic 3 uses the Title Card font for the continue screen. It looks a bit jarring at first since most aren't used to how Sonic 3 does it, but it is the truth. I can link a picture if you'd like.
Nope, the credits screen is, excluding the character sprites, the same between Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles. The Credits fonts are comprised of the Font-styled letters and the Zone Title Card-styled letters.
IIRC Sonic 3 by itself used its credits font on the Continue screen.
