What kind of confuses me is that this animation plays with Knuckles, but only in the Genesis version. If you play with Knuckles in the 2013 version, the animation of Knuckles also plays for an awkwardly long amount of time.
Maybe a sonic 2 mod
I'm still disappointed nobody has ever made a Sonic version of this cutscene for when you play as Tails.
