@Dolphman so you're saying if they revive Captain Planet they should name him Duke Nukum so it can go full circle
When the game came out in 1991, Apogee were concerned about getting sued so they renamed it "Duke Nukum" But when they found out it wasn't a registered name, they took the chance and trademarked it. In short, this would mean if Captain Planet were to be revived, they legally wouldn't be allowed to use the name again. So the villain would have to be either renamed or replaced.
The Duke Nukem name is a little on the nose...
