Just going to point out that the 510 prototype has a different Sonic signpost icon.

I think that prototype underwater palette is the same palette as the one used on Sonic 1's title screen

I had no idea that broken switch sprite even existed!

Why is the big ring shine red?

@sher I think he's asking "Since the regular rings aren't on here due to being shared graphics, why is the big ring still on here?"

@koopa retro: if you finish a stage with 50 rings in sonic CD you can access the special stages through the giant rings, like in sonic 1! its how you get the Time Stones

That sheet misses both variations of the "spring-on-wheel" from Palmtree Panic and Metallic Madness.
I understand for the rings as they're the same in Sonic 1, but what's up with the giant ring sprites being here ?

Where's the prototype goalpost?

@DarkVampireDee There is. I'll add them.

@beanluv:
Thank you! ^ ^
And ooh I know exactly what you're talking about.
In KC, there's a monitor that when broken, it actually accumulates all the rings you have, and when you take damage, it causes a single ring to slowly bounce away. If you can catch it, it gets you all your rings back; if you fail, all those rings are gone as if you had lost them all normally and had been unable to retrieve any at all. You can think of it as something like a ring bank, kept in a ring-shaped bank :p

@PicsAndPixels:
Hmmm... All right. I think the Blue Ring Monitor reappears in Knuckles' Chaotix, but it works differently. I've barely play it, I have gotten the Blue Ring Monitor, but it only shows the icon. Must be it has something to do with losing rings? Maybe you lose Blue Rings, which would be 5 Rings if collected.
Also the "S" Monitor only gives you Invincibility and Speed Shoes. Kinda like Super forms, except they run out with time, not rings.
Please do more rips, these are really neat.

I feel like there's more missing for some reason

Thanks XD
And the clock monitor stops time for about the same length as the invincibility box is active when you hit it. The blue ring is like, 50 rings or something, I dunno :I
But both the clock and the blue ring monitor are scrapped items that DID make it to the final game, though they're unusable. If you use debug mode and go through the floor in Act 3 of Palmtree Panic, right before the boss, there's a hidden room where you'll find those two monitors, but every version I've tried doing that in results in instant death when you change back into Sonic.
Thanks XD

Loving the custom "88 MPH" Text in the preview.
What's with the clock monitor, and the Blue Ring monitor? I know what the S Monitor does already. What do the other unused monitors do?

That should be everything for this sheet now, right?
