@MCTravisYT I think the last 3 unused ones were in Sonic 1; the two of sonic hanging, and the last one of sonic falling

I think one of those sprites were in Sonic 1 but unused

I like the palette here better than any of Sonic's other palettes!

@ROBLOX Technically, but a lot of creative liberties would need to be taken since we don't know for certain what the intended context for each was.

Can someone hack Sonic CD To remake the Prototypes? and bring the unused stuff back?

I have my own theory for the "shruging" animation: it would have been used when you've cleared a Special Stage when you already have all Time Stones (as seen with the Super Sonic spines, remember both CD and 2 were developped at almost the same time). For the fact that Sonic is "sinking", I think that's because the sprites were simply unfinished which would also make sense as to why they've removed them.

my theory for the sprites where he is going forward and back looks like it could be used for when you jump, fall back, then roll forward into a ball

if only i knew the basic 3D Coding, Meh, i'll get a book

@Doc von Schmeltwick its from a guy named cybershell on youtbe. He made a video called Sonic CD secrets

@StarletSkarlet Not sure if you're quoting someone, but I'd say the most logical conclusion would be that the UFOs were initially intended to be able to "abduct" him.

it is

Is it just me, or is this a completely different color pallet than the normal sprites?
