The Heavy Update is real.
@(A Porcupine) D-Dash According to what Dinoshi 64 wrote, the Special Stage and Combi Catcher sprites were re-ripped and color corrected. Well to be fair... 32X emulation in 2008 isn't like what it is now especially the likes of Ares surpassing the likes of the old Kega Fusion and I could only get the prototype version to rip via CHAOED. So at least it was a good change.
Honestly though the entire sheet should be re-ripped from scratch like all the remaining Chaotix ones done by MDTravis (they are good). It's one of the fair few sheets that I do feel embarrassed that they are still on. The Point Blank sheet being one really early sheet that definitely needs re-ripping and if it wasn't for really bad health over the years would have done it already.

@pacmastermeow I won't get to Heavy for a while thanks to my tool being weird with this character, but here's the palette for now:
@pac There isn't one. The rips that do have that for this game are newer and by a different submitter (replacing Yawhackary's rips, which in turn replaced ToadKarter/Teeks' old rips).
