@YellowInAHat In fact, it is a slightly modified version of the 32X game, just notice the color palettes and her eyes differ from the 32X version.
Are the dance sequence sprites ripped straight from the 32X game? I noticed her size is smaller and the hair colour is different.
you're able to swap between characters using the revolving doors at any time in that level. they made unique sprites for tempo on the off chance that somebody might switch back to him before entering the boss room
watched a TAS of this a few hours ago, i saw that you could do the 2nd level katy-less, yet the orchestrating sequence at the end of the level doesn't just reuse katy's sprites. instead, otherwise unseen tempo versions of said sprites are used.... i wonder if the inclusion of katy in the 2nd level was a last minute inclusion or you were intended to beat the level as tempo initially?
