Ignoring that trophies were introduced in 2008 and this game was released in 2009 in all regions, yet the non Japan releases don't have trophies for some reason.
This is one of those games where it was made before trophies (the Xbox 360 counterpart already had achievements). Some games did get a patch afterwards to add them in but not this one...
It did however get a Japanese release with trophies and some people imported that copy just for trophies.
