Let it be known that this game DOES have unlockable characters! Some English-language sites with info on this game don't seem to mention it. (At most, I've seen a few sites mention Wonderbull and one or two mention Yatter Wan and Zender Lion...) The bottom row are all the unlockable mechas I can find in the game. Wonderbull and its unlock method are mentioned in the game's manual, but the rest of them I had to find out myself.

Each of them is unlocked by clearing Story Mode with a different amount of the main default teams... up to 5 of them. You don't seem to get ANYTHING for clearing Story Mode with the 6th or 7th teams at all...
