I've been logged out for months so didn't actually get to see that these finally got approved. I'm glad they're on here. This game is terrible (not for any reasons pertaining to the creators, it's just both a technical and poorly-written nightmare) but you can see the effort that the art team put into it, and I'm glad to have the bulk of it uploaded.

@RTB Such memes are a common internet staple. The same kinds of memes can be found about the french, canadians, polish, the br*tish/english etc.

Random fun fact: Because of the Br*tish, there is one "Independence Day" somewhere on Earth an average of once a week.

I think their disdain against European-derived people in general is well-documented, from what I've gathered.

@16-Bit Globe: I'm led to believe that I might've been duped, so allow me to add a massive "citation needed" for that. The original context that was brought up here was that they, supposedly [as stated, citation needed], reposted an anti-Italian "meme" on their official account stating "Repost if your account is not a safe space for Italian "people"". I have not been able to find the source of that tweet when I looked it up for myself other than the dubious wiki page that was also posted here earlier. At this point I wouldn't put it past people to fabricate those kinds of things just to stir up controversy (pictures of Twitter posts can be easily faked, after all)...
