Oh yeah, not to mention that the game was re-released on PS4, so that was kind of the spark in the flame for the popularity of the game.

Hm. I see, I see...

@OffensiveLemon
Not to mention that overall views probably factor into "popularity" as well, and this is one of the few recently megahyped games to actually use sprites. And fairly simple ones, at that. For example, look at all the attention Sonic Mania's currently getting. Anyways, there was a lot of views when it was initially released as well, before it was ostensibly "long-since-dead."

@OffensiveLemon Well, I don't know what "long-since-dead" means, but this is an incredibly popular game that has stayed in the public consciousness. The rerelease on consoles probably has something to do with it.

Can somebody tell me why this long-since-dead game is the most popular game on this site?
Doesn't surprise me that my previous comment was deleted...

hey anybody got some tips to make amalgites?

Despite the fact this game has sorta became irrelevant, I think it's time to update the sprites for the new update, I guess.
I'll add console button sprites and JP stuff soon.

@jackj106 That is in fact the case.

snessy the duck : i believe in gamemaker they are drawn using a rectangle of black, then white, then black. as a draw_() command

Where are the sprites for the items?

I can't seem to find the dialouge box spites anywhere. Have they been ripped yet?

i have it, just not formatted

@Flophawk I think the castle specifically is a background we just haven't gotten to yet.

Where's the sprites from the long hallway with Monster Kid? With the castle in the background?

lol well i'm making a game so this will be easy with these! thx

Well the game is getting a JPN release... Thats really the only new content though

Well why would there be extra content? A lot of us don't have Steam (or internet money in general), and would like straight-up ports...'course, I ended up getting it through humble bundle for Christmas last year, but plenty of people can't have that either...

Now for the PS4 and Vita.

you only notice that now? lmao
Buttons from the console release, this sheet was semi-clobbered together, so it's messy,
Quick edit: Yes, some English text was changed in the Japanese language. I assume because those words are more commonly known to Japanese readers? (Example: "Gameshow" becoming "Quizshow" in JP)
