All the sprites for Act are called referred to as "spr_talkbt_(Insert number here)" internally, actually.

Yes, but Spell is unused too.
Talk is from a very, very early screenshot of the game back on the PK Hack days were it was shown as a joke sequel to a romhack that never existed for the heck of it.
"Talk" is unused.
