They almost looked uncreative too, because most of them just copied with edited colors, aircraft, and vehicles for the badniks from the genesis trilogy.
Not necessarily to be rude, but lakefeperd really missed the opportunity to change their designs during the DX version.

These badniks look dead inside. Even Sonic Forces had better badniks than these.
