No, the laser was an actual tool that was made sometime around 2005 as one of the preset hopperbins you could add to your game but got removed by 2008 due to it being barely used in most games and it being too similar to how the delete tool worked.
I guess it's called trailer-only.
The laser isn't unsed. It was a tool that worked just like the Delete tool. It can be seen 57 seconds into the 2006 Roblox game trailer.
