@Ten2 It really depends on whether the creators approve of them being ripped or not. Some have been taken down due to lack of credit and permission. (Example being Wolfenstein: Blade of Agony) While most fangames on here have since become open source.

They're still allowed here, in fact, the staff never would've accepted this game if fangames and hacks were no longer accepted.
