rpg makers usually go on sale every now and then especially rpg maker 2003 (which was used to make off), and there's next to no programming knowledge needed to work with it
sometimes i want to create rpg maker games like this. but really i don't know how it works, like, do i even need to know how to code in this program? also all rpg maker programs are COSTLY... i don't have money for that, and i don't want to pirate it either.

@Smakkohooves More like if Final Fantasy, Myst, and Killer7 were mixed with a protagonist like Jacket from Hotline Miami and a theme of morals and Morality straight out of Undertale. In fact, OFF is one of the inspirations for Undertale; Toby Fox has directly cited it.
