here comes the new sprites. they are coming.

Yeah they were put up the 2-23 of August 2023 so a little shy of a year

I’m aware the staff aren’t very knowledgeable on tboi but I’ve had 5 sheets that have been pending for almost a year and just wondering if they’ll ever get approved

Finally, this section is getting the Repentance sprites!

In addition, the reason your submissions are still pending is because some of us don't know anything about TBOI and don't know whether Repentance sprites should actually be grouped together with Rebirth's or not, considering they consider Repentance to be its own game, almost, from what information I can find.

So, it should also be noted that we cannot be expected to know everything about every game; we don't just blindly approve everything that gets submitted, or else there would be no quality control. We do a lot of research into things to confirm that they are legitimate, among other things, which takes time. That doesn't even include the fact that we have personal lives to lead and don't always have time to even do all this voluntary work.

Also, never seems like kind of a stretch, don't you think? You realize that the updates that are posted every week that typically contain hundreds of submissions contain only submissions approved since the last update, right? Do people even think before making these wildly inaccurate generalizations?

@Rodja457: Larger submissions can take a bit longer to review depending on the contents. Plus we've been busy tackling earlier submissions in the queue, please be patient.

Man, now I see why nobody uploads all the sprites here, seems like they will never approve the new sheets.

With Repentance's new ability to just extract the sprite files, why isn't this filled up to the brim? (get it?)

@chaoseight I think they probably should be, for the sake of preserving the old art.

I'm curious, how will the updated sprites from Repentance factor in here? Will they be separate sheets?

Repentance is out, but im gonna wait a bit before uploading the sprites so i don't spoil the game.

Maybe some ui, tears and little monsters like spiders and flies?
