His crown will Added in Punch out Customs.
If you're wondering what happens when you use a star punch on King Hippo, he doesn't have a proper sprite for that. he just reuses the first frame of his idle animation as you're not supposed to be able to get stars from him to begin with. Some hacks like Phred's Cool Punch-Out 2 Turbo start each fight with stars which allows you to see this interaction (King Hippo still takes damage from it, he just doesn't have a proper sprite for it).
He only wore his crown in the cut scenes and the Wii variant
