You can start the game off with any of the seven heroes (including Jotaro), and you begin in that character's home universe then travel to the universes of the other six heroes afterwards.
Oh man that portrait. If Joel from Vinesauce ever plays this, (and makes it far enough past the language barrier) I could easily see him doing that "crop and enlarge" thing he always does with weird faces.
