Me and Dolphman were poking around the tile data for the enemies, and we found a seemingly unused sprite in the overlays. We couldn't figure out what it went to, though. Looked kinda like the Centipede's shoes.
How often do you see backwards compatibility on a spritesheet, anyways? ;P

Well, then.
I use the YUV v3 palette, which is the Mesen palette with very slight differences in some green / teal tones. The original sheet used a very saturated palette.
I used to use the FCEUX palette but that one turned out to be pretty bad in the red / purple tones, there's barely any contrast between them. I want to replace my old sheets but I'm waiting for the site update first, so I can add tags alongside them and not submit twice as many updates.
The sheet on a sheet looks pretty silly but I figured the outlines could be useful, I didn't want them to be gone. It also seems to be a pretty old sheet considering its number (no idea if it was a later update though), and also considering the very passionate Mother fanbase it felt like I would delete something neat that probably saw many uses.

This sheet is almost perfect, but it's missing the Japanese sprites for Kelly, Nancy, and Juana, as well as Dr. Distorto.
Everything about the Gorilla Sprite is amazing
I can't handle how absolutely schmanky some of these look(See: Ghost, Elephant, Gorilla, Hyena, Magic Snail, Bear, Cougar, Bag Lady, Fugitive Big Foot, Polar Bear, Alarm Ghost, Bison, Buffalo, Seagull, Grizzly Bear, Fish, and Dragon).
i think that if the pink background was black, it would be better, because, like this it looks like the sprites have 4 colors (or more if they used sprite layering or other palettes ect)
Some might not even know it, but one of the bosses is actually one of the earliest known rival battles in video game history.
