@Keenfan1990 Probably the 5 game restriction a year that Nintendo of America had and Namco probably passed this one for a more well known game/more modern game. Like why Dig Dug didn't get a release. Also Namco Hometek, the US branch at the time wasn't founded then so chances are that someone like Tengen might have done so. Similar case in licensed regions in Europe where Namco didn't have a distributor and got a lot less games like Pac-Man came out really late in the systems life.

Yeah, this one exploded in popularity especially on multicarts and in Russia, even more than the original arcade Tank Battalion or the later Tank Force.

Why did we never get this in the US?

Had a modded or better say homebrew version of this game, with tons of new levels on top of the old ones, took weeks to finish them all. The best part in this game was that you could build your own levels, that is what actually kept me in it.

With how small each stage is you're better off compiling them into one gigantic sheet instead of 50 individual ones.
