Well, as a Brazilian I think I can answer:
imagine the situation, late 90s and early 2000s, Brazilians didn't have access to good video games, most had Super Nintendo and Mega Drive, the PlayStation arrived here costing 3 to 4 minimum wages, so we had bars, usually pool halls, table football and at least 1 or 2 arcades, if you were lucky, you had 3, out of those 3, 1 was Cadillac and Dinosaurs, Street Fighter 2 and for at least 12 years it was KOF 98, I said 12 years, I remember playing KOF 98 in 2011, KOF 99 arrived, KOF 2000, KOF 2001, 2002 (we liked that one too a lot), KOF 2003 and then the KOF 2D games that arrived in the neighborhoods ended, but we always had the kof98, there always was, it was a great time to play kof 98 in bars and share space with the drunkards and the slot machines

Why do Brazilians love this shit

This isn't the only popular fighting game that doesn't have many rips here... The rippers who specialise on those rips mostly don't come here and the ones that we do should really be thankful for doing them.

I think people really need to understand is that it takes time and passion to do these than most other rips, it isn't like you get a file/tool and have all the sprites ready to rip like later consoles/PC. Fighting games have a lot of poses, some can be very large, they reuse a bunch of tiles with some games having a layout all over the place which is why most just remove the layers and capture them. Also the emulators that people use to rip them are also old that would have problems running them in the future and even the ROMs themselves aren't compatible with MAME/FBN as they would have been badly dumped or misnamed at best.

We didnt get this in a year,despite it being popular game of NEO GEO system.

Could we get more than just the timer sprites in here? I don't mean to sound whiny or anything.
