I don't think what you remember are official tamagotchi, Jefoi, there were lots of clones
I might be blind but so far going through multiple rips and releases I cant find the dinosaurs at all. Even tho I remember them being the most popular back in a day. There was at least 3 , 1st that was similar to a Trex, this one is the one I had, 2nd was stegosaurus and 3rd triceratops.
By logic back in a day people were thinking of, if you could get any animal in real life you go for something you don't see every day, so people rather had a dinosaur or some mutant animal as second best choice.
