That's Sonic Triple Trouble 16-bit, not the original 8-bit version.

I hate that train boss.
@AnNormalSonicFan its implied that the real knuckles was imprisoned and metal copied his form for a while, so the knuckles you fight in game isnt the same knuckles you save in game
@You Gotta be Joshing me to me Sonic Chaos is more comparable to an 8-bit Sonic 3 as Sonic Triple Trouble is to an 8 bit Sonic & Knuckles
@Murphmario Sonic Chaos is more related to Sonic CD.
@AnNormalSonicFan Eggman appears in the intro and final boss. Knuckles appears in the intro and level transitions. Fang appears in the boss battles. But Metal Sonic only had one appearance in this game: his boss battle.

Has anyone tried ripping the ending sprites or do they get used somewhere else that already got ripped?
Interesting. Is there any chance I could take a look at your sprite ripping process for the GameGear? I am attempting to do it to Arena at the moment

Instead of getting an 8-bit Sonic 3, we got this.
They were de besht names. The boss names, on the other hand...
