See, now this Sega screen is the only thing that the game gear version holds over the master system version

This was actually used in loads of old Megadrive ads for Sonic games.

@Altzer if they used their darker blue palette, he'd be harder to distinguish from the logo, in all likelihood.
Why is Sonic missing his bottom quills, why is he cyan, and what's with that weird smirk and posture of his?
Something about that Sonic just doesn't look right.
