Everyone knows his real name is Mr. Doobie
@Murphmario Because it isn't his name in THIS game, but is more likely what people will be searching for.
("A Hidden Figure" is actually treated as a name for him, going by the JP script)

Why is "Rudy" marked with quotations. 100% sure that's his official name, at least in Dr. Mario 64.
What a dramatic twist of fate.
The legs are not usually seen
Rudy - The only character who can actually give the player a Game Over in this game.
@TheMorningFlash15 And the fattest.
Still not as horrifying as that one unused face ( https://tcrf.net/File:WL3-scaryface.png ), which apparently exists in the tiles for the temple. Because of how it looks and where the tiles are, I personally hypothesize that it was an intended "in-between" look, as in the game, he fades to black instead between the two forms, not to mention that it just looks like a transition between them. I made a note of that possibility on the MarioWiki and TCRF, and TVTropes seems to have picked it up from there.
This guy is probably the most horrific character I have ever seen in a Mario-related game.
