@DeltaMudkip If you enjoy the game, check out Shadow of the Ninja on the NES. Originally this was going to be a port of that until Tecmo decided to publish it and gave it a Ninja Gaiden coat with some changes.
Late but I'd honestly say it's one of the best Ninja Gaiden platformers. It's short, only having 5 stages, but those five are VERY fun, and the music and backgrounds are magnificent for a Game Boy game.
I wonder if this game is any good, I'd like to try it out sometime.

Can you rename this game to Ninja Gaiden Shadow. We only use japanese games for the SNES Final Fantasy Games.
