Yes, but despite that and a few other fixes, you can't cure the condition of "being a SMW sprite."
And this was the one detail that @Dazz glossed over in the DYKG video about "Obscure" Mario Facts: that Bowser was actually touched up for the GBA release, with orange skin and four fingers instead of three like in the original.
