I really like the GBA-era "pre-rendered 3D" style some Mario games had (like this one and Mario vs. Donkey Kong). I wish we could have gotten a fully original 2D Mario platformer with pre-rendered sprites like this. MvDK was sort of that, but Mario's details were kind of hard to make out, these sprites are more readable.
