This gba game look like it was going to released after Double Dash as you can see this image that the fellow British developer used come from a Gamecube game. Possibly a placeholder graphic or the British developer thought Nintendo might use the same artwork as the handheld port of Double Dash before the British dev later got turn down when he pitched this demo over to Nintendo of America for approval.

Whats funny to know is that a few years after this game, prior to Wii, the next Kart game right after Double Dash would be another handheld (crazy coincidence right?), that handheld Kart game was Mario Kart DS! I figured Nintendo cancelled this demo because they only want to focus on making Mario Kart themselves and not allow a third or 2nd party to make something thats already been done before and not have a spinoff or any other kind of Kart game that might confused their customers and fans lmao.
