I wonder if Brothership's gonna have its own unexplained large, sleepy sentry enemy found in the last dungeon but is very tangentially related to the villain's theming at best.
The icon is like "Bro, what is this?"
Unsurprisingly, there was an unused counter mechanic for if Mario & Luigi were to fight this enemy, and it's by jumping to hit the blocks, of course. It goes unused because Mario & Luigi can never actually fight these enemies in game.
So this is where all the blocks in mario come from!
