"What the hey?! I don't remember these three in any Time Bokan shows!" I hear you asking.

Well they're from a little 3-episode OVA from 1990, called "Sengoku Bushou Retsuden Bakufuu Douji Hissatsuman". It was an OVA created by numerous staff members who worked on the original Time Bokan shows (including the overall series director, and some of the voice actors like Noriko Ohara and Masayuki Yamamoto), but it's TECHNICALLY not officially considered part of Time Bokan by Tatsunoko because they didn't directly make it (it was instead a production by Artmic). Most fansites for Time Bokan do still choose to cover it, and I suppose this one can be added to the list.

I do think this OVA is overall important for the history of Time Bokan. I'd imagine the amount of original staff members who returned to make this might have clued Tatsunoko in to the fact that folks wanted more Time Bokan, as a few years after this, they kickstarted what I've seen referred to as the "revival era" for the series, with the Royal Revival OVA, a radio series, several video games, and a bunch of other stuff, that ultimately culminated in the creation of a proper 8th show, Kaitou Kiramekiman.
