@Dolphman What, they couldn't just screw it up by having Jennika not have a Renaissance name? They had to mess up one that did, too?
@Doc von Schmeltwick She pretty much was wasted potential as she really didn't do much to set her apart in the show she debuted in. And rewatching the show and Pheleous' review of every episode, yeah it really is the worst incarnation of TMNT. For the longest time anything from it was forbidden from being used in any new interpretation and it wasn't until a completely reimagined version of Venus appeared in the IDW comics in the most disturbing way possible.
Spoiler:The story arc she's introduced in involves a mutant mouse mad surgeon who's made horrible operations on other mutants wanting to be human again. One of his experiments is pure Frankenstein horror involving one of the Punk Frog's girlfriends and turning her into a turtle via different parts, including an artificial shell made of dragon scales. This is how she becomes the comic's version of Venus

Why was this character so controversial again? People suddenly got a problem with strong scalies when they're girls? People scared of reptile breasts? Didn't have that issue with Mona Lisa, they scared of bald chicks?
