This looks really cool! I do have one critique; to me it kinda looks like the arms get a bit too long in certain frames, mostly the walking frames and the first falling one. This is still excellent, though, and I especially love that you added the CD spring twirl!
In addition to what Techokami said, there also doesn't seem to be a "look up" frame, so make that 7 potential new frames.

Man these are impressive! It would be nice to see the other animations planned be added as well. (Ideally: the second "hurt" frame for riding a water slide, the air bubble breathe animation, the drown animation, facing the player for going down pipes, facing away from the player for entering doors, a victory pose... a modest 6 frames that adds so much flexibility)
Looks official! I'd like to see these be put in a rom hack.

Anyway i'm here to say that this was for a scrapped entry for a SMW hacking contest, I didn't have enough time to do more frames and all that, which is why the sheet is pretty barebones. I also couldn't figure out back then how to make sonic walk in the air when he's falling, so i made a pose for that to save time.

YOOOO! THAT LOOKS SO ON POINT! He has that SMW appearance, but still got that Sonic 1 style, if that makes sense. I love how the Spindash looks as well!
