@Da-thing How so? It's only slightly darker than straight from a Genesis, and it's consistent with the modern releases of Sonic 2 and is easier to use for that version with less hassle. It also was easier for me since that's where I got my source sprites (Sonic 2 & 3 Origins) and kept me from having to spend a couple minutes swapping the palette. It's also a bit easier on the eyes honestly
@The_Eggo55 why change the palette to that version? It seems more like a downgrade to me.
@Wildwildwoody64 I added some custom death sprites, tweaked up some other sprites, and changed the palette to match the 2013/Origins sprites

These look pretty amazing! Though the quills on the Hurt/Sliding sprites look a little...off.
