@ilovescratchcie pretty much EU means Europe. Overall if you'd actually have an arcade machine or a rom of the European version of Mario Bros... You'll notice something on mario's colors to be a little brighter and more authentic to the arcade's colors....

So yeah... in otherwards EU means Europe.
