I love these zone icons--I especially love the inclusion of Bridge, Jungle and Sky Base Zone!
The fact that the Sonic card with the In-game colors reminds me from Japanese box art is a good point

wait to me in in game limitations doesn't look that bad so that means we could put it in sonic 1 like the zone cards in sonic 2 8-BIT.

Labyrinth Zone feels odd to me here. The water fading to the abyss gives me kind of liminal space-type vibe.
