Let me explain this: I never would've tried to change the name if I known you were still an active member. If I known that, I never would've submitted a name change. But now that I know that you are still an active member, I would've let you do it.
@Ton
@DogToon64
I named this sheet the MC Sonic sheet because:
1. It all started from that one MC Sonic sprite I did
2. While it looks similar to Sonic 1, 2, and S2 Beta, it's more its own style rather than one, not to mention it has more custom things. Naming it MC Sonic helped it stand out. If I wanted this to be a Sonic 1 Expanded sheet, I would have used the palette and followed S1's sprite style more.
Basically naming it MC Sonic tells you what style it is sprited in.
And DogToon64, when it comes to custom sheets, if it's not your sheet to change, don't change it.

@Ton But, it's based from this hidden screen from Sonic CD. And this isn't Sonic 1 style either.
@Void-the-Bat I'm changing the name on top back to MC SONIC. Not the actual sheet's name. Does it hurt to help a little? >:(

Because the name "MC Sonic" doesn't make any sense. One single sprite on this sheet is Sonic as an MC. That's like labeling this "laser" because it has one laser on it.
"MC Sonic" tells you nothing about the style the sheet is sprited in, or what the content of the sheet is.

It doesn't matter. You shouldn't be changing names of sheets like that, especially custom sheets. It clearly even says MC Sonic on the lower right. I'm not even sure how that name change was allowed.
@Dolphman Changing the name back to MC Sonic. Changing the name isn't really changing the sheet.
well then.
uhh anyways uh since this reminded me of this sheets existence i should probably get back to working on updating it which i cant give an exact time frame on
also no im not doing tails or knuckles or any of the others

@DogToon64. Hey man, you have no right to do that. It's someone else's sheet
I submitted a revision for a name change. It hasn't been accepted yet.
Why did the name change back to "Sonic 1 Stye Expanded:?
@squid - Master of Ceremonies. 'MC stands for master of ceremonies, or someone who acts as a host for an event, especially by introducing speakers and performers at a party or broadcast. In hip-hop music, MC is sometimes used as a synonym for “rapper” or “artist.”'
what does mc mean
If anything this has more in common with touched up Sonic 2 beta sprites. Even then, it's still much more custom looking than S1E.
I don't wanna seem stupid, and i know that you liked the sound of the name "MC Sonic" But, this is just a Sonic 1 Expanded sheet, unless you forgot to add the golden chain and mic. Otherwise, this is basically just a expanded sonic 1 sheet.
NO! YOU CANT USE SMALL TEXT, DYSLEXIC PEOPLE WON’T BE ABLE TO READ IT!!!! haha text go small
I'm guessing a Sonic 3 A.I.R. skin mod is out of the question?
In any case, I love it. It looks great when recolored to use the blues from Sonic CD Special Stage and the grays from Sonic 3.
This is meant to be a sort of universal sheet. It's not trying to be more Sonic 1, more Sonic 2, or more anything. It's more it's own thing, hence why there are sprites from many different classic games, to try and fit everything. Of course, it's still a w.i.p. so many things still need to be added. The sheet number at the bottom (1.2) is meant to just be telling what version this sheet is, for example, 1.0 was the first version of the sheet, and 1.1 and 1.2 and such are just updates. Any 2nd digit updates (1.01, etc.) are just small changes but don't really add anything new.
For example, 1.21 is just an update crediting someone for a palette here that I forgot to add, plus changing the text for the MC Sonic sprite used on the icon to be b i g.

Tbh I'd say these sprites would fit with the Sonic 1 & 2 hack.
It's almost like a Sonic 1.5 Sonic.
