I am gonna play this game
I am never touching this game
It's clear that it was made to capitalize on the meme that was popular between 2022 and 2023.
If it were a free parody game it wouldn't be so suspicious, although the legal risk would be the same (normal for Nintendo fangames).
Regarding who owns the IP for said adaptation, it was Kievnauchfilm, but it was dissolved in 1993 and then inherited by Ukranimafilm, which in turn merged with Dovzhenko Film Center.

Something about seems bootleggly and illegal. The sprites are cropped out of the film itself with some crude photoshopping to make the costumes. It has a suspiciously large number of positive reviews on Steam, which being on Steam already does raise further questions on it being a licensed game. So no doubt this is unauthorized, made without the permission and consent of the animators
What the hell, this is a real game?
The words "ROM" and "death" should mean the same thing to you!
