I really like this concept. I found it weird how Joe's head appears to be 2X scaled compared to the rest of the sprite, though.
I had to have him at the same size as all of the other characters in Puzzle Fighter (Ryu, Chun-Li, Morrigan, etc.). A Skill Star is his special character win icon for the Playstation and Saturn versions of the game, and he has his own portraits, character tile, stage and Counter Gem drop pattern.
