Well in the universe of WarioWare, Wario makes the game that you play, meaning the WarioWare canon is already broken.

@Doc, @Lakitubro
What about 9-Volt in WarioWare Smooth Moves having a WarioWare Twisted Microgame in his stage? Does that make WarioWare a seperate canon inside itself? Did we just create a black hole of canonuity?

@Doc von Schmeltwich I have one thing to say about that. That thing would be....

Fuck.

@LakituBro By that logic, Donkey Kong 64 having the original DK game in an arcade machine would as well. It's a whimsical franchise with little canonical consistencies.

@Doc von Schmeltwick B-but what about the Easter egg in Luigi's Mansion with the ghost reading "Mario Story"
Doesn't that prove the fact that regular Mario games and Paper Mario games are technically separate canons?

@LakituBro

Mariowiki only lists them as distinct for the versions in Paper Jam. The other Paper Mario game appearances are listed in the main pages.

@TheMorningFlash15 Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam disproves your argument. According to the Mario Wiki, AND THE GAME ITSELF, the paper incarnations of the Mario characters are separate entities.

@Ton Going by that logic, shouldn't the Mario, Luigi, and Bowser sheets be moved to the main Mario Customs?

Characters, for the most part, fall under the section of the series they originated from. For example, Paper Axem Rangers would still go in the Mario RPG section. M&L style Koops would still go in the Paper Mario section.

Would Paper versions of Mario characters that don't appear in Paper Mario (for example, Paper Waluigi) fall under the Paper Mario Customs category, or the normal Mario Customs category?

@TheMorningFlash15
It's possible for me to do it, but Huey will end up in my more angular art direction.

Most likely the N64 Style, as it is notoriously difficult to make sprites for the latter two games.

Can we have Huey from Color Splash in N64 and GCN/Wii style?

I hope whoever plays Paper Mario: Color Splash can provide some custom Character Rigs based on the game. :(

I fear if what everybody is saying about the sprites being pre-assembled is true, we may need them for this section.

Yeah! We split it up a few months back to keep the Mario Series from getting too bloated. Same with Wario.

Woah this is it's own section now? GREAT!
