On further inspection, it looks like the arcade gng
Wily wars but if the sprites were more like the nes.
Pretty sure Mega Man was originally going to be an arcade game anyways. That and possibly an Astro Boy licensed game.
Also Megaman 2 was Made in 1988 too @Zhuguli232.
