I've always wanted to see Bowser's sprites from that scene in Wreck it Ralph be recreated. They look amazing! Great job!
Ok I need to upload my Ralph and Cyril sprites in this style! We need a greater Wreck-it Ralph. So let nostalgia flow.
wir pac-man bowser specifically has lingered in my mind since forever so its nice to see the shared sentiment! :D i felt like since the mazes are designed to be decently populated, it would only make sense for the troops to be there too. these five are an intentional inside story reference, just in case there was room for doubt...

and ngl I think Bowser's minions sprites could've also work as in the Mario Bros. Arcade Style judging how the Koopa Troopa sprites are very much the reused from Sidestepper's that fits the 16x16 pixel grid. as all the enemies in that game were in 16x16 grid per-sprites.

And I thought I was one of the few fans who complained because that the movie wasn't taken seriously (not even Disney itself did), so much so that in 2016 I started trying to dedicate an exclusive section to Wreck-It Ralph customs.
But since there wasn't enough material when I started, and since the IP still doesn't have enough notoriety or relevance for a separate branch from the rest of Disney and Pixar, it wasn't possible.

Lol, I see that this year (2026) has started with several references to Wreck-It Ralph, including Bowser's version of the Pac-Man cameo in Bad-Anons:
