I feel like the intent of the original joke was less "lol feet are sexy" and more "lol King Koopa's a despot and his minions are literal bootlickers".
@Dolphman Well a later point of the Sonic example episode involved Tails stuffing himself, and there was a lot of weird fetishistic undertones to Underground, so...

It's a reference to the first episode of Super Show. Incidentally, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog reused the joke... in the same scene that brought us "pingas."
