It is called Super Mario Bros.: Star Scramble
Star Scramble was ABSOLUTELY PEAK!!! and then some weird bootleg flash game developer stole these mario sprites alongside some others that were used in Star Scramble and made a way shittier game, it was called Super Mario Save Luigi, even the name is ass

This sprite was used in so many "Mario saves x" games (Examples: Mario saves Sonic, Mario saves Luigi which uses a stretched out Mario with green clothes and Mario saves Yoshi) which are just reskins of each other (not counting the Pichu one) and I hate that because those are pretty terrible and sorta ruined the sprite for me. Good thing its grace was not completely sullied since it was in Star Scramble

Hm. Must be after my time. Back when I played flash games, it was almost always the SMW Mario. If not that, you'd occasionally see the MLSS one. Granted, this was back in like 2006 or so.

PS: Do you remember that SpongeBob flash game that uses the same engine as those crappy Super Mario Save X flash games where he has to save Gary? Because I remember i found it on a random SpongeBob flash games website, including another one with Ronald McDonald that used the sprites from McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure if you could help me remember the names of those.
