this is def smb3 styled rather than 1
It's rather more like SMB2 or 3 instead of 1. Try remove the outline!
It seems they are based off the SMB1 Mario Maker Thwomps
These sprites are really nice! Though, I don't think they fit the SMB1 artstyle at all, having heavy outlines, texture and a palette that doesn't match. It would work better for SMB2 or 3, in my opinion!
From one Whomp spriter to another, I appreciate this.
