The Spiny and Turtle I sorta get.
One's a stylized Mario enemy, the turtle resembled a dinosaur mascot in Japan. Idk why the bounder was replaced by a pig head. Capsule J resembled Twin Bee a bit but it seems to be less on that as it just became a running thing for Capsule J to get upgraded as shown in Robobot.

Still have no idea why HAL decided to completely replace some of the enemies.

Spinies are called スパイニー (Spiny)

Togezos are likewise called トゲゾー (Togezō) which are shared with the Mario spinies and are considered separate entities from the Spiny.
