Not to mention tensions between the US and China making things all the more difficult, as many of those auction sites are banned here. Heck, we don't even know if it was originally called F-22 or Navigator. |

| Sep 13, 2024 4:10 PM * | MollyChan | Asset: Met Daddy and Met Catcher | Way-too-late of a response, but we're not "lazy", actually we "fixed" the sprites since BEFORE that last comment here was even posted, the only thing that needs updating is this rip. Also games are made of a ton of different parts, a TON of work has to be put in to a game. For MM8BDM, I know the team had mainly just two main spriters officially on the team for some of the prior versions, one of them being myself (with other folks making contributions from time to time), not to mention all the other different things people had to do to make each major update happen. Sure there's some ancient spritework that sometimes needs updating, we'll get to it eventually, we just have a large workload of new things we need to make too that take precedence in every major update. Maybe think again before you start calling other people lazy, eh? |

I was the artist who did all of the sprites here except for the top-view of the car, and the sprites of the Fake Men holding up the weapon pickups. I feel like my car sprites are kinda wonky... but I'm still quite pleased at how the animation of Fake Man leaning out of the window to take shots at the player looks! |

Alongside figures of the red Ruby/Sapphire design, and the green Emerald design (the latter of which never actually released), they also put out a blue palette swap of the R/S figure to have three Brendans! Bizarrely, it was this blue Brendan that they actually assigned the name "Brendan" to, with the red one being "Landon" and the green one being "Sean". Red also got that same treatment, getting three figures, with a green palette swap and a yellow palette swap (the latter of which never released either) in addition to the standard red design! Three guesses what the alternative names for the palette-swapped figures were here, hahaha. |
